Jennifer's Body
Showing at the Toronto International Film Festival: Jennifer's Body, directed by Karyn Kusama
After running an article a few weeks ago about how overwhelmingly white and male Hollywood directors are these days, The New York Times holds up the Toronto International Film Festival as a counterexample.
If you're reading this blog, you probably don't need a synopsis of Jennifer's Body, and the ones I found online all had spoilers. So your synopsis is: hot cheerleader starts killing horny teenage guys, and her best friend has to stop her. Looks like good trashy fun to me.
