Synopsis from the Venice Film Festival’s website:
Alzbeta and Martina are two sisters who have immigrated to Ireland. When Alzbeta decides to live with Ducky, a drifter she has just met, Martina, in a relationship with an Irishman, tries to keep her out of trouble. But Alzbeta cannot help clashing with her sister because of a tragic event in their past.
